The Creeksters looked unstoppable against United and could unleash havoc against the Snakes, who for their fans must be like watching the Oprah Meghan and Harry interview. I do love Phil the Greek, he comes up with some classic quotes. To a Scottish driving instructor, 1999: "How do you keep the natives off the booze long enough to pass the test?"

I summoned the spirit of Phil in a meeting yesterday when I was in a meeting with a client and passed a quip that went over his head, but had the rest of the room in stiches
