SEM V ILL Feb 28

SEM have beaten the Hawks once this season, can they back it up? After a great start in Queensland, the Steeltown boys have lurched between wins and losses, yet maintained their top 4 spot. The Creeksters have gotten better as the season progresses and are playing like a Top 4 team. Do the lawns early so you can watch it on the telly because this will be a cracker.

My tip: plenty of lead changes and this one will be won from the line

Gorj doesn't appear to be the switched on coach he used to be. Gimmick defence like zone and after 3 passes match up. Is this U12 girls?

Gorg has no idea so how would the players know.

Deng deng hardly plays yet can score when he does.

Defence total joke offence no better.

They will not win another game in the cup and got no chance of making thr finals.

Got two good imports, one exceptional and a great next star, some solid Aussie talent and started season fantastic but now it's Goorj fault, lmao. They were better when Bairstow and Adel were injured, yes on days deng deng can chuck up shots that go in but Goorj likes guys that play defence and neither Adel or deng do, they are street ballers that can run hot but normally cold.

Was Adel a signing by Goorjian or the Hawks owners?

Bairstow was once an NBA player as was Luke Schenscher and Donald Sloan.

Having NBA on your resume means less nowadays.

Adel was overrated. I'm really disappointed him. Also disappointed in Max Darling.

Hawks have done well so far behind Harvey and Jessup. The key for other teams is to slow them down and you probably win.

There are plenty of players worse than the 3 names above who have graced our shores with NBA experience on their CV

Remember the outrage when Deng Adel didn't make the World Cup team? 'He is on a NBA roster, he should be an automatic pick’ etc. lol now everyone is seeing what the Boomers coaching staff saw at camp

It helps you on getting a good contract/team overseas easier than a kid straight out of college or someone in other domestic leagues. It won't keep you on the roster but it’ll help you get that foot in the door with the NBA stamp to your name

Nba on your resume gets you a big pay packet normally once anyway.

Hawks played like they didn't believe in themselves anymore, and are playing to not lose. Phoenix do believe in themselves and are playing to win.

Gorg is responsible for the slide its easy to see that.

Once Harvey and Jessup are getting guarded heavy or Jessup giving away dumb fouls they literally have no other options who are consistent enough.

They lack a dominant big Froling is still learning and Bairstow either has a decent night or is utter rubbish.

Deng Adel no need to say much about him other then he is a ball hog who looks out of control every time he goes down court.

Naar has gone backwards at an alarming rate and White tries hard but again offers little in the offence department.

Gord needs to change things up or its going to be along season of the same old same old.

Not sure how you could be disappointed in Max Darling when he hasn't hit the court yet.

Deng Adel is the most dangerous player you can have on a roster. A guy that thinks and plays like he is elite although is negative ev on both ends of the floor.

You could see teammates questioning his decision making during the game yesterday. A very tough spot for Goorj as I'm sure the owners want to see him on the court with the cash they've invested in him.

Also SEM, run everything through Creek and play Reuben Te Rangi less and you'll make a serious run this season.

Darling is a long term investment but still should get some type of game time.

Adel is a selfish players who is always trying to rush plays instead of slowing it down maybe he thinks he's still in the NBA.

I rather have Grida back at the very least he is a team players first who adds energy.
