Pretty good setup, all Australian-based teams bar Cairns (where there is no local SEN affiliate) get local coverage on traditional radio:

In Melbourne - Australia's largest city for basketball participation, 1116 SEN will be there courtside for Melbourne United and South East Phoenix games, while fans of interstate clubs won’t miss a match on the SEN app plus for the first time - Sydney Kings games live on 1170 SEN; Perth Wildcats games live on SENTrack 657 AM; Adelaide 36ers live on 1629 SEN SA; Bullets games on 1053 AM Brisbane and 1620 Gold Coast, plus Illawarra Hawks matches live on SENTrack 1575 AM.

Tuned into 657AM in the car and the Wildcats game isn't on. Good one SEN.

SEN 'negotiated' exclusive rights to the NBL Cup, locking out Cluch Radio and ABC Perth, then Hutchy went on Twitter and lied about it, saying that anyone could broadcast the Cup, which is absolute bullshit. It’s the old Hutchy/LK conflict of interest rearing its ugly head yet again.

That's what I was thinking yesterday in the car - they've locked out ABC and others so it's not just a case of tuning into another station. If SEN has exclusivity surely they are obligated to air in local markets. What happened yesterday was extremely poor.

We know that but the point of the discussion is SEN are acquiring exclusive broadcasting rights, thereby blocking other stations from covering games who have supported the NBL for years, and then not bothering to actually air them on the main frequency contrary to their claims in their very own press release.

So Larry has big conflict of interest issues.
I guess a certain Podcast was right....

The NBL is a joke pure and simple.

Designed for Melbourne based clubs and LK's own pocket.

Expecting teams to give up actual home games for it is laughable.
