Sobey Vs Dech

Who would you rather have today, going into the cup. Sobey can be electrifying on offence but terribly inconsistent. Dech is playing a great 3 and D role, if he hits those open 3s off double teams on DJ and Humphries then around 15ppg is well within target if he adds a few other weapons. Would take Dech every time on defence because of mindset. Got a nice pay raise but would be on way less than Sobey. If Sobey isn't playing well he has a sook, so attitude goes to Sunday.
Both didn't have short cut to NBL, but IMO Dech is more valuable than Sobey right now.

I've like what I’ve seen from Dech so far, but he’s a work in progress compared to Sobey, who is as good as he is going to get. He was definitely Sobey-esque with his dumbass turnovers today though!

I doubt Sobey packed up and relocated to Brisbane just for the fun of it. Sure a WC spot with the Boomers might've been assumed but he would still be getting paid good money by the Bullets.

I don't know what Dech might be on but he got a 3 year deal out of us when no one else was prepared to give him that so doubt he's on close to Sobey type money.

Dech has been very good, Sobey probably better. Sobey down the stretch still doesn't get the job done for Brisbane though.

I'd take Dech over Sobey as Dech doesn't need the ball to be effective whereas Sobey can lose you games by having too much of the ball.

If this was for a Boomers spot then I'd also take Dech over Sobey as a defensive guard to replace Delly if he has more concussion issues... but Thybulle would be more desirable than Dech and Sobey.
