Will Magnay update

Any got any updates on how he's travelling ? Impressing ? Getting close to any game time ?. It’s too silent on the western front.

I think he will have to wait for g league.
If he impresses there expect to see him given a run.

I'm not sure how two way contracts work as to whether there is a minimum games requirement.

There are a minimum time requirements with the NBA team when they sign a two-way contract. The G-League season doesn't start until Feb I think they're playing in a bubble in Orlando like the NBA did last season.

When the G-League season is done the Pelicans will recall him and then they'll probably play him in a few games to get a look at him before picking up his option for next season.

He is off to a good start averaging around 16 to 18ppg in first three games.

Has officially made his debut today against the Lakers.
Only 3mins but well done, now that G League has finished hope to see more opportunities for him with the Pelicans.

Many Aussies had minimal impact in their first NBA games including Mills, Baynes, Dellavedova and Ingles.

I'm not saying Magnay will reach the level those guys are now but it shows 1 game to be a minor sample size.

Pelicans still have almost 30 regular season games remaining so hope to see more of Magnay.
