I was surprised to still see Roth on the Wildcats bench for their season opener.
It was agreed he'd leave in March but he may leave sooner now that a replacement had been found.
The replacement has to get into the country and then quarantine. No rush for Roth to exit. I'd be surprised if the new Ass Coach was available for the Hub.

Thornton & Gleeson have a previous coaching relationship dating back to 2000 in the states, also makes sense the Wildcats & Gleeson want access to his extensive list of NBA contacts from his NBA assistant coaching days.
Not sure why you are so upset. It's a good signing.
Some people will just find any reason to criticise Gleeson
Some people have an unhealthy obsession with Aussies only.
I didn't know about the previous relationship so thanks for the sensible answer. I was never anything to do about Gleeson either. The rest of the answers is the usual dumb arses replying with meaningless crap.
Apparently he flies to Aus on the 31st so he should be with the team in mid-February after his quarantine.
