Great to have Junior basketball back in Victoria

Shout out to the administrators and coaches for getting the kids back out there in Vic. Full 10 months without competitive bball was significant, but more significant is that the kids are back, smiles on their faces and they are getting stuck in. Great to see. Thanks.

Some Under 18 Boys Practice Match Results.

U18 Boys Frankston 1 vs Casey 1 Frankston won by 20

U18 Waverly vs Keilor I believe Waverly won by about 10 pts

Waverly is a completely different team to the group 2 years ago that won u16s and won't be as strong.

Dandenong will be the team to beat after having Jerome Pierre Return, Coby Buriel come across from Latrobe one massive team as well from all accounts

Interesting to see the clubs who have made through to VC so far. Melb Tigers with 5 teams, although 4 of those from the girls side and only 1 from boys which is a tad worrying for that programme which has dropped off. Dandenong looks strong.

Dandenong is the opposite of what you just criticized in Tigers. They now have only 2 teams in both U12's & U14 girls and none of those 4 teams are at the standard expected of an established club such as Dandenong

Interesting. Do they run the boys and girls separately? Tigers do, and one is outshining the other completely.

This Vic lockdown is a real bummer after a great restart to VJBL.

No Dandenong is one club, doc just cares a lot more about the boys side

I expect DOCs can be at a club for too long.
