469 what's your point?
They are all Australian players going to the Australian Institute of Sport.

I think he just meant it was surprising since they regularly take up half the places.

The Vic kids have everything they need in Victoria. Especially the metro kids. Many of them knock it back

I think the idea is to move allthe vic kids into sbc by mid year, all the kids from other states into canberra.

Does anyone have the full list of players names and their height that will be attending the COE and NBA Global Academy this year?

Will they be competing in the Waratah League again this coming season?

Cheers

Should they all decide to compete if they're not already at colleges and such, SA’s u20 nationals team next year is looking really promising. Olbrich, Rasmussen, rutayisire, ipassou and yaak all would be on the same team theoretically after training together at the AIS. A scary lineup to think about.

Would they better than the U20 team with Mudronja, White, Rigoni, Mayen?

Good on him, but Yaak hardly dominated 18s this year. Would say it's only because of height he's going. Of course that's always a factor, but going against kids 5 inches shorter would expect domination for Coe spot.

U18 this year would be child's play for Yaak and while some of his opponents peaked this year Yaak is nowhere near his peak. COE know what they are looking for you don’t know what you are talking about.

It's based on potential, not Who is the ducks nuts currently.

Lots of 5'9" players out there with "potential”

Sadly if you're 5,9 you don’t get a look in with the word potential attached to your name. When you’re 5,9 you need the word exceptional attached to your name. That’s life

06 5’7 S.Harvey PG
05 5’9 R.Gray CG
04 5’11 I.Borlase G/F (represented u19 gems)
05 6’0 J.Clark G/F

04 6’2 N.Puoch CF (represented u19 gems)
05 6’2 J.Petrie PF
06 6’2 O.Bird PF/C
04 6’3 E.Gordon C
05 6’3 I.Juffermans C

Possible tournaments
04/05/06 talent u19 2023 WC, u18 asia 2022
05/06/07 talent u17 2022 WC, u16 asia 2022(moved from 2021)
06/07/08 talent u19 2025 WC, u18 asia 2024

Whoever the selector/s are need to be fired...
4-5 of these players should never make the junior/n.t given who else it outthere.
I can only come to the conclusion alot of girls are turning the program down now.
Anyone that has watched 04/05/06 talent knows who the standouts are.
Also the program seems to be a step down in competition for some that have chosen to go to Coe.
3 of the 4 2004 girls should be DPs on wnbl teams already.
Heal, Brazel, Burrows etc are other 04s on wnbl rosters this year.

#754 don't be so disrespectful

Can only comment on Sienna Harvey as one of new additions. Great kid, great competitor. Elite guard who can score inside and outside. Terrific composure in the paint and can draw fouls (and convert). Great first step. Needs to improve her 1v1 D like every other player. Stoked to see her given the opportunity.

Coe selector track record ain't great.

The plan is to get them all into junior n.t and if you look at the past decade, only about half have made an u15/u16/u17/u18/u19 side.

4 of the 12 players from last 2 years never made a n.t side at all.
I think it'll be the same over the next 2 years.
