Jock Landle & Melbourne Import Update

Been digging around and talking to a bunch of people close to the organization.. Melbourne have been trying hard to get Jock Landale to sign and have had him working out with the team for the full offseason but he is close to heading to a major European team.

For now the 2 imports likely heading to united are ex clippers 2 way Johnathan Motley and North Dakota State graduate Vinnie Shahid.

Considering the European leagues have been going since October, most sides would have to move an import on to fit him in. Valencia are actually not travelling at there usual high standard.
Top euro sides can pay 4/5 times what nbl can.

Landale NBA deal I reckon still happens :)
Hopson could play at Adelaide or MU or even SEM at the 1 but doubt it

Hopson would be the perfect fit alongside McCarron and CG43. A play-making 3.

How the mighty media pet has fallen. It amazing how most punters still have him the Australian side. Luckily he's still over 7’ tall.

Haters gonna hate unfortunately.
Sad that most people find it easier to put down our nations own players.

Good luck Thon.

Melbourne United's big pitch to Landale

United coach Dean Vickerman told NBL Overtime on Tuesday he would love to see Landale join the team for this season, and had given him until the end of the week to take up the offer.
