I feel for Coenraad even though he's 35 he was still a good role player last season averaging 8.1 ppg @ 46% (36% 3pt) it must hurt knowing he's still a better player than 2-3 guys on that Hawks roster.

I understand he didn't want to leave the Gong but still a bit ordinary having your playing career end this way.

Feel like Coenraad had a couple of good years left.
Solid career hope he stays involved in basketball.

Yeah I agree he'd still be a handy player.
Congrats to him on a very solid career. I always liked how he went about it.

Congratulations to Tim for a stellar career, one of the guys that is not flashy or loud but just carries on his business.

Agree with the others that he is still a servicable player, I would take Coenraad above Daniel Dillon, Kevin White any day.

Would have been nice for him to win one Championship but that's to be expected when playing for the Hawks.

Wish him the best in the future.

Congrats, but strange timing. Wonder if he felt he wasn't up to Brian's training and game plan. Maybe was told would have reduced role and decided to choose his own terms. Definitely could have played that veteran role off the bench.

Hawks? How many GF series did he play in with Illawarra? Two? Three?

Was he cut? Probably.

Well done on a great career though. Always torched the Taipans!

Always killed us with timely 3's. As other said, seems like he still had more to give, but great career never-less.

Didn't know your opinion counted. Oh that's right it doesn't Great guy and a legend in NBL. Last time I saw him play was in a SEABL game and he smashed it out of the park.
