Simple question: If say Perth know Cotton will naturalise by date X, and have another import already lined up, would they be allowed to start the season with only 9 payers on the regular roster?
Not saying they would or will, just wondering if it would even be allowed under the rules.
I would imagine not. Prettcy sure you have to have 12 players on the sheet and bench. The question is with Cotton as an import until he naturalises how that will be managaged. Happy to be corrected.

Can a DP be temporarily upgraded like they sometimes do in case of injuries.?
Would seem odd to get someone like Ogilvy over from Eastern states as a stop gap.
Deng Acouth qualifies as a DP at 23/24 could they just sign him to a roster spot and relegate him to DP when another import is added?
I think you could up grade a dp, and then move them down to dp again, bit like an injury replacement.
If you don't sign ten players, it would make it difficult to abide by the "bottom five" cap.
Can a next star be counted in the 10 or do you actually have to have11 if you've got a next star.
Nbl rules so hard to interpret or find.
