I guess this was always the plan.
He showed a bit last season, and has apparently been playing well in NZ.
Hopefully will grow into our next backup PG.

You obviously did not watch any of the high school level NZNBL bubble. You could have played well in that league Daz

I realise the quality was probably average.
But he's a DP, and we're looking for a backup not a starter.
He surprised me last year in two ways
1) First game I saw him come he took a drive in the key and mucked it up. Im like "why is this guy doing this"
2) next few times i saw him he actually made a few baskets in traffic. Surprised he could actually do it.
For a young guy he has poise and confidence you need to get anywhere in this sport. Reminds of young shane heal - in that they were aggressive early on in their careers.
Who knows where he will go but definitely i see the upside.

I'd sign him up after next season. He has real promise. He will be in the NBL for a long time.
