What is the loudest stadium you've been to?

Loudest Stadiums
1. Oracle Arena (Warriors)
2. Chesapeake Energy Arena (Thunder)
3. Citizens Bank Park (76ers)

Here is my list

Qudos Bank Arena, game 3 of the 2020 Finals. Paul Smith's crying was the loudest thing I've ever heard.

Would have to be The Pit at University of New Mexico. No pro team in town, the place goes nuts.

Challenge Stadium (Perth), when it was at peak RedArmy spec.

As run down as that place is/was its acoustics where phenomenal. Perth Arena is no where near as intense or intimate as that place.

Also seen a WWE NXT event at Challenge which had incredible atmoshpere. Much better than the WWE event at the MCG.

Give me a small venue of 5000 passionate fans over a large stadium with 70,000 anyday!

Razorbacks original tin shed at Liverpool, jam packed Hawks Snakepit, Perth's Challenge stadium in the playoffs. The old Giants Glasshouse.

Melbourne and Perth now thanks to having the loudest volume obnoxious MC's. Hawks MC is obnoxious too, but has been for 20 years so thankfully the WEC has a shit sound system.

Been to countless State of Origin matches in Brisbane, genuinely thought few things could surpass that rowdy atmosphere.

Then I went to a Warriors/Lakers game at Oracle. Curry/Klay on the rise against Kobe/Dwight/Pau/Nash. Insane, easily the most raucous fun crowd I've been a part of.

Went to the 2015 Final 4 at Indy. 70,000+. Noisy but nothing on Oracle.

NBL-wise, Townsville games were boisterous in the 90s.

The old Illawarra Snakepit in the 80's. The place would vibrate.

TD Garden was pretty loud, then Le Bron came to play, smashed my Celtics and about half the crowd had left by 3 quarter time

Loudest NBL arena in person: Powerhouse in the five minutes between the fourth quarter and OT of Game 1 of the 1994 Finals vs Giants.

Oracle Arena in 2013 or 2014, it was I think the home opener or maybe 2nd game of the season vs the Kings, and Bogut managed to get in Cousins' head and get him ejected from memory. Place was crazy, best live sporting experience I've been apart of as far as both the crowd and the game experience put on by the team, hell even the walk back to the train with the food vendors along the way etc.

AngusH - that walk to Oracle and back from the train is legendary, loved it. No more though. Has anyone here been to the new centre on the piers yet?

Far and away The Sinan Erdem Dome in Istanbul. So loud I'd wear ear plugs - the only stadium in the world where I have done that. It was like going to a rock concert every game - your ears would literally be ringing the next day. Find most NBA games the crowd really doesn't get going unless its a close last quarter or playoffs. In the NBL used to find the Townsville Entertainment Centre crowd extremely noisy as well as The Snakepit and even Clipsal when it was rocking was great. IMO though you cannot beat the European crowds - in particular the Greeks, Turks and Lithuanian supporters are amazing

Acoustics were great in the PEC but for sheer volume Challenge still wins out of the wildcats arenas

My vote goes to Challenge. Plus it was also the smelliest venue I've been to. What a glorious shithole, the site of our 2010 title clincher.

Australian fans are pretty tame and quiet compared to many places overseas.

Saw a Roma champions league home game a few years ago. THAT was loud.
