Which Imports Are Still In Australia

Does anyone know which import stuck around after the season? That will basically mean they will commit to the next season regardless, as they can't fly back home, right?

Cotton and Plumlee were here ~10 days ago when the Cats got their rings. I'm assuming they're probably still here.

United may jig their roster now. I would not be surprised if they let go of Prather due to the restrictions and borders being shut everywhere.

Hopefully in a couple of weeks virus will calm down and hopefully most people can get immune to it if worse case scenario it doesn't go away any sooner or later?

Is it worth of me to upgrade to a Gold membership with Melbourne United or should I just stick with my Bronze due to COVID-19 not going anywhere?

I'm thinking it’s not worth upgrading because this season may be low on talent and I feel it will be a Wildcats Breakers final again. I can only see United making it if they sign Melo and Long back plus some better Australian players like Brandt, Mathiang or even
Landale if that’s even possible. Aussie guards or Kiwis like Eli will be good too but a balanced roster like Perth’s.

New Zealand have a great squad of Kiwis and Perth has a strong squad of Australians plus Cotton and Plumlee if he is around still??

If things are not sufficiently normalised, the league may need to take steps to rebalance the league. Not sure how?
Maybe a return to a points cap, just for a season or two??
And maybe stop Perth hiring anyone else?

Norton / Martin
Cotton / Travers
Steindl / Lo Buluk
Kay / Wagstaff / Vague
Plumlees / Majok

That's still a formidable line-up post-corona.

The problem with a salary cap, even a hard cap, is that there will be a few players making decisions based on safety and comfort, rather than money.
If Plumlees likes Perth, he's likely to stay, and NBL-level money is only pocket change anyway. Cotton will probably stay, even with a pay-cut.

oops, squad is back down to 10, so I'm guessing Vague or Majok will be out of luck.

I heard AFL and Cricket may not even be on.
I think there will be no NBL season either.

Christophersen was at such a level that the mention of his name even in jest brings night terrors.
