Bogut was hardly able to walk on Sunday, you can understand the kings point off view. The whole series has got out hand but to be fair to the nbl the government has led this very badly, country should have been shut down a few weeks back. Nbl just going with the government standards.

They also refused to play game 2 if there was a crowd.

The kings have had a great season, but the desperation by their ownership group to salvage their playoff run is laughable.

You can understand their point of view, but last week player safety was paramount. This week, na bugger that, we want to prolong the series.

Makes you think that player safety wasn't the issue last week at all

Hopefully the Kings lose on Friday to end the series ASAP. I understand why given their interest in winning the title, but to reject rescheduling game 4 on Wednesday is grossly negligent by them.

Have Sydney been told by the league if the series is 'incomplete' they win?

It feels that they are trying to wait it out. If they want to wait that's fine but why wouldn't the league make them travel to Perth with the Cats so they can avoid travel restrictions that may come in?

"Have Sydney been told by the league if the series is 'incomplete' they win?"

If that's the case that's more than unfair to Perth who are up 2-1 I don't see that happening without perth putting up a hell of a fight

Perth would be ripped off ( as would any other team) if they weren't declared winners.

Sydney have already hosted 2 of the 3 games

Out of interest how many teams have recovered from a 1-2 deficit in a best of 5 series?.

Happy to beat them in 4 so they can't even share a trophy, another year on Bogut's body, this was the best shot they had and they may have blown it...

just give the trophy to Perth already. Just so they'll just shut the f...k up. And be grateful that God had the good sense to put them a long way away from anyone else.

Why is everyone suddenly so certain Perth will win game 4 haha?

A few days ago Sydney thumped Perth in Perth.

And why would be not moving it forward to Wednesday be negligent?

So much hate and misinformation around.

It should be joint winners, I know it's unusual and won’t be popular but Sydney have not lost the series yet, they look like their in a lot of bother but best of five hasn’t been decided.
Shoot me down all you like but that’s the fairest way or play it out.

I don’t support either team so I’m not influenced by parochialism.

How can we say they should have locked it down weeks ago?

No one could have predicted this and lets face it the sports organisation in this country seem to think they don't need to shut down so perhaps they could also take a lead from comps in other parts of the world.

If Bogut can't get up for a Wednesday game after a Sunday game, then there is little to no hope he would be able to get himself through an Olympic campaign unless he played back up minutes off the bench at most. Elite player for sure, but if the body isn't willing then it would be a struggle to take him over a fit Baynes/Nick Kay combo.

I don't think people are sure Perth will beat Sydney, it's more so this current iteration of the Sydney Kings will do anything to win or take moral high ground.

If Bogut is good for about 40 minutes per month then he's probably too cooked for Tokyo 2020, and even less likely for Tokyo 2021/22

I hope when declaring a winner, the league considers the wrangling Sydney did last week to try and gain an advantage, which worked on Friday but backfired Sunday. It seems they've painted themselves into a corner by digging their heels in this week and last week.

Series is over, Perth should be the champions.

Most medical professionals predicted 1,000 cases by this Thursday. That call was echoed 2 weeks ago. The Government commenced slowing down and restricting the number of people to get tested however it likes the modelling is spot on.

At this stage, Cotton and White would have good stable places to stay if need be in Australia. The Sydney imports love to be in the US. Seeing the US Corona numbers I predict that door to the US to close this weekend. Malaysia closes tomorrow, most of Europe within next 48 hours.
