GP 3x3 Pro Hustle - BA Disgrace

What an absolute disgrace Basketball Australia are.

Not only have they today allowed the 3x3 Pro Hussle go ahead in the grounds of Grand Prix but have also brought forward all games to today so players are playing 7 games in 1 day.

Do they have any consideration for the health of players (coronavirus) or their well-being (fatigue & injury risk) having to play that type of format 7 times in 1 day.

FIBA have cancelled all events so the pre olympic qualifiers are not going ahead so there is no need for this event.

Jerrill - have a good hard think about yourself.

The 3x3 Pro Hustle is actually organised by the NBL - Not Basketball Australia

FIBA sanctioned so BA is accountable.

NBL runs 3 x 3 on behalf of BA along with all their commercial and marketing operations.

The NBL look set to run tonight's game with 10k+ spectators. The AFL is yet to make an announcement about games with even bigger crowds and playing groups that are still a week away. W-League semis are going ahead at this point. Schools and childcare centres full of kids rubbing snot all over their faces are everywhere. Is a small 3x3 event really "disgrace" level assuming people had already travelled to attend? If it's not for qualifying, then is the standard more casual and less dramatic for an x games/day pace? The government's proposed 500+ crowd ban is starting from Monday and CMO Murphy said "There's no immediacy about this..." Seems more subjective than disgraceful for an event running today.
