Sabrina I's stats v Diana T's college stats

just looking at the College playing stats - Sabrina well ahead except for blocks DT 147 to 34.

Everything indicating Sabrina will be playing at DTs (if not beyond) level into the future

Doubt it, defenders much quicker, bigger, more athletic in wnba.
Sabrina has a very high iq and good stroke but she's super slow.
Only elite in pick n roll when someone’s setting screens for her.

Dt is a streaky shooter who played in a era where there was a lot of disparity between players.
Also have to look at pick 1, wnba, New York, not much to work with atm.

Take IQ over speed any day. Chris Paul has had a pretty good career for someone that is small and slow!
Team USA couldn't stop her and pretty sure they are the best of the best.
Sabrina will get selected for US Olympic team for Tokyo, a generational superstar changing the women’s game for the better!

Calling Ionescu slow is fine, but then comparing her to Taurasi is weird because she has been slow all her career and it hasn't stopped her from being called the GOAT by a lot of people. (Myself not among them, but she is unquestionably one of the greats).
Diana was an elite scorer, and that translates very nicely from college to WNBA level. SI seems like slightly more of an all-rounder, which traditionally doesn't translate quite as well, but she's smart, unselfish, and plays hard, so her ceiling is still potentially very high.
The fact that she's going to a bad team is very minor in the context of her overall career. It's unlikely they will be bad forever, especially now that Dolan is finally out of the picture.
