Broke his hand before he played a game for the Wildcats... replaced by Tokoto
Watched highlights, not sure what they saw in him, cannscore n occasion but certainly lay not the dogged defender I thought they would bring in.
Makes Friday nights game a bit more interesting.
Thought they would've brought back Crockett; can only assume he's no longer available.

The Bandits picking up Chumlee seems to have sparked a late season sprint for top 4 spots
The Bandits have the rest of the league spooked!

Interesting signing.
Will be nice to finally see what he can do in the NBL.
He played for Roanne on the tenth January, was he cut or did Phoenix offer more money and he had an out clause. Strange signing imo. Could Wesley get more time in the 5 and Creek more time in the 4 with Walker starting in the 2 but playing more in the 3.

Nope, he broke his left foot.

Look forward to seeing what he can do.
Absolute gun three point shooter.

A three point shooter you say? Exactly what the Phoenix were lacking........

Terrible acquisition if they wanna make the playoffs. Do they have a big that can back up Pineau? If they think Trist is the answer they are in big trouble.

Although the move has come too late, signing a wing was the right call. Their wings are clearly banged up/not performing consistently and creek, Wesley, pineau can handle the bulk of minutes at 4-5. Of course, an injury to any of those 3 will be a disaster. Surrounding the playing style of Creek and Wesley with outside shooters is smart and Pineau is an excellent offensive rebounder.

This makes Friday's game actually worth watching.
It will be nice to see how good an outside threat this guy is.
If (when) Roberson fires, and if Madgen and Walker fires from outside, they can give the game a good shake in the Arena.
The Cats are not invincible at home and are prone to underestimating their opponents.

Obviously SEM have no chance of making the play-offs. Maybe they just wnat to add some respectability to their season?
Or maybe they are looking further ahead? Saw Walker was available and decided to give him a go??
So yeah, another SG would appear to be the last thing they needed, but if they're looking to the future, who knows.
Or maybe they think he's athletic enough to hold down the SF role? That's what Perth was going to try..
He'll be suffering jet lag this weekend, no way he plays much if at all. He played in France on the 10/1/20. It’s all a bit late if the plan is to play finals.

"Obviously SEM have no chance of making playoffs"
Not true. If they win 6 of the next 8 they will be there. Highly unlikely for sure, but a chance. Love the signing. Shows they are serious about giving it a red hot crack.

"He'll be suffering jet lag this weekend,"
A long air trip, certainly, but not much of a time difference problem. Perth is 7 hours ahead of Roanne in France. So the 9:30pm Perth tip-off will correspond to an early afternoon time slot in Roanne.
Note that the Perth-Auckland time difference is 5 hours, so it'd be only a couple of hours off of the time difference the Perth players have to deal with when playing in NZ.
If he hydrates and SEM shell out for first class or business class, he might not be too jet lagged on Friday night.

It's good to have a game in Perth. He'll love the crowd and sign for Perth next season.
What's with teams this year bringing in imports that don’t suit their roster need? The Bullets have proven all year that positional balance is key.
SEM now have Creek, Madgen, Stephens & Walker on the wing... they needed help in the 4/5 spots.

""Obviously SEM have no chance of making playoffs"
Not true."
Ok, let me rephrase: SEM have absolutely no chance in hell of making the play-offs.
Walker was brilliant on debut, and frankly I'm puzzled as to why it's taken this long, and SEM, to get him back to the NBL.
But this only makes sense as an audition for next season, and then only if other changes are in the wind.

If White was to depart the wildcats I wouldn't mind Walker.
