Pretty good performances from Maher Farley and Oscar to all get a look in. Well done!

Not sure. He might've got one for a 23 and 9 game in Perth last year?

Deserved win for Maher - well-rounded stats, had a critical impact despite not shooting well against the Razors, and the team went 2-0.

Despite two extremely solid performances, in the average week Brett would have struggled to get POTW on those stats. I am assuming the thing that ut him over the line was his clutch plays to win the matches.

In fact, Maher has been involved in each of the close wins:

Drive and dish to the open Rychart for 2 against Cairns in Cairns with nothing left on the clock (well, maybe 0.7);

Slashing drive to the basket for left hand layup against Cairns in Adelaide with 4.6 seconds left;

Taking the (controversial) charge in the last 10 seconds against Melbourne); and

Drive and pivot against the Razors for jumpshot with 10 seconds left to put us 1 up.

Is Maher the go to guy this season or what!

If the last 4 games have not been sheer luck, they have been sheer brilliance. How could the award not go to someone from Adelaide. One thing you can't say about their performance in the last 3 weeks is that they have not been consistent. They have consistently won by 1 or 2 points and they have consistently caused controversy over it. While its fun to look back at it now, its now time to take some safety precautions.
