I'm not certain hunger is the coaches department, professional players should do that them selves. Joey doesn’t pick balanced teams imo, to many flash and show guys and not enough grunt, and White, Teys, McVeigh, Froling don’t count as grunt. The four spot is critical defensively if your five is more an offensive player. Drimic is a two guard, not a three so if you got Randle as a point guard you need a good three and D guy in the three. Anyway just a few thoughts.
