Mel-Adl Nov 10
Melbourne are sitting in fourth spot and whoever wins this game will be in fourth spot at the end of the round.
Melbourne with three wins in a row are on a roll. Adelaide have had a bad fortnight losing to Phoenix, then Kings. After starting the season slowly, United have picked up pace. Long, Goulding and Trimble all average over 20 ppg, now throw Prather into the mix and that could be 5 in a few weeks. Gee, there must be some fat balding grey haired dud with gold jewellery around his neck in Melbourne with deeps pockets smoking cigars on a yacht. Oh yeah, did SugarDaddy.com jump on as a sponsor? It's like a Rapper's birthday party. There's more cash getting splashed than a cocaine dealer's pool party. Who's wearing the gold bikini?
While there's lobster on the menu in the United changerooms, the Sixers have to catch yabbies from the Torrens if they want a feed. Adelaide are the more budget side, but they are the more emotional side. United are the clinical Ivan Drago, Adelaide are the emotional Rocky. Too many times Adelaide have lost games they should have won because they let their emotions get the better of them.
I fear that might be the case today. A third quarter fade out after a solid first half and then it's a clinic in the fourth. Come one Sixers, there's light at the end of the tunnel, unfortunately it's the United freight train.
