Funny 36ERS vs Razorbacks, tonight

Adelaide play West Sydney tonight at Homebush with tip-off being 7:10 CST (7:40 AEST over there). Of the team, only Willie Farley has won a game at Homebush before, and that was playing for the Razors.

Adelaide are 5-1 on the ladder, including 1-1 on the road. The Pigs are 2-3, including 1-2 at home.

Best bet for game info will be the NBL's Live Scoreboard if it's working.

Hmm, no scoreboard link on the NBL site!

If they do end up running stats, I think they'll be here but it looks doubtful. :|

The scoreboard was there about an hour ago. The NBL better have a damn good reason for removing it. Tough luck for the Adelaide fans who want to keep track of the game.

We're down 20-18.

Music Man is at the game and will hopefully remember to SMS me updates after each quarter.

NBL site has recovered (still no scoreboard) and says we're up 30-31. Down 39-36.

Up 52-62 at half-time. Oscar and Jacob have around 10 each I think, Coops hustling well. Not sure of other scorers -- no scoreboard at Homebush!

More info:

McGregor 4p (2/7FG)

Adelaide 30-22 rebounds 1st half

A fairly lacklustre game...McGregor hits a three to open the third qtr.

Stacker just joined a scuffle on the floor in fox game, very funny!

C'mon Sixers, they have bounced back well in the quarter, suspect Maher has lifted.

Holmes got a triple double yet?

I would've had an SMS if there was, so unlikely. Maybe just copping some defensive pressure? Remember he had 4 points in three quarters on Wednesday, so might be leaving his efforts for crunch time.

Up 83-88 at three quarter time. Were up by 12, but Clint Reed hit a few threes in that term. Willie got a couple of dunks on the break.

They're calling some soft fouls on Coops and he and Oscar have 4 fouls each (which is why Hambour is on).

Jacob apparently shooting well.

Will get another call at full-time.

More info:

3/4 time

Farley 17p, Holmes 15p 8r 8a, Forman 14p 7r, Maher 8p 6r 6a 3/12FG

Harvey 22p, Blackburn 13p 5/14FG, Rigby 10p
Great statline from Holmes. First TD of the season?

Now 94-90, down by 4!

Another blowout! You got to love Maher, nothing all game (by the sounds of it) and comes through every time in the crunch! Sounds like Willie may have done some smart things defensively on Wests last possesion as well

Meanwhile, Crocs getting destroyed by Melbourne. Down by 22 with a minute to play. Newley has 23, but that's about it for Townsville. Pirates were within 6 against the Bullets, but another blowout there.

Here's the final play run down from Ben at the game: Blackburn passes to Harvey who jacks it up straight away from the corner, hits back of the ring. Reed chases down the rebound and throws it back into play. McGregor catches it and puts up a quick shot, but misses.

Adelaide win.

i just cant believe we keep pulling it off. One negative though is we seem to fade and let teams back in it. Any stats? i guess the nbl site will have them up later. Isaac thanks for passing on the updates.

24,8,6 vs Tigers
14,7,7 vs Razorbacks

yeah thought about that put was a little quiet this game scoring wise as apposed to willie in the melb game although brett does have better all round stats. How good is his positioning for the board he allways gets a good amount.

Harvey's 39 was last round. Maher would be in with a shot. Beat one of the best teams in Adelaide, and then got the second win away.

Pirates won earlier this round, but got drilled tonight. Taipans might have someone if they do well tomorrow, but no one stood out in the Perth game.

Brisbane had a big win, but at home and against the Pirates. Black had 23 and 10 assists, and Brannen had 21 and 15, but the league seems to prefer teams playing multiple games.

Boxscore is online

Sixers had a lot of TOs (20) and outblocked 3-11, but won the boards 68-41. Oscar got to the line again (4/5 FT which is good to see). Coops 11 and 7. Hill had 11 and 6 on 4/9 shooting. Hambour only played a couple of minutes, 1 board and 2 fouls. Three double-doubles from the Sixers (Holmes, Forman and Rychart).

Sixers won despite not-their-best games from Rychart and Maher (6/20 each from the field).

poor dusty he is in a bit of a flat spot. He is still getting numbers but it seems to be hard for him of late. Hopefully they can try and rided the excitement of the past weeks and get bigger crowds at home.

No worries at all, winning without having to directly rely on Dusty Rychart is a serious plus!

What about the form of Oscar Forman the last 3 games, wow, scoring and even rebounding heavily tonight aswell.

One guy may be down, but we seem to have the depth to cover.
