2021 U18 AJC and Kevin Coombs cup host will be Werribee

WERRIBEE Basketball will host the 2021 Australian Under-18 Championships and Kevin Coombs Cup.

Basketball Australia will keep the Under-18 and Kevin Coombs Cup in Victoria for 2021 Australian Under-18 Championships and Kevin Coombs Cup, following on from the recent announce of Ballarat hosting the 2020 event.

From 10-17 April 2021, the country's best junior basketballers will be in Werribee vying for the three championships, with both Under-18 titles won by Victoria Metropolitan at the 2019 event in Townsville.

Eagle Stadium will host the event, as Werribee Basketball and Wyndham City Council get a chance to showcase the venue’s capacity and capabilities for elite events and competitions.

So they can name the location for 2021 U18, but are yet to name the location for 2020 U16??

Vic again for u16 20 , vic for u14, vic u20 2021, vic u18 21, vic u16 21, vic u14 21.

Other states can have southern x and acjbc.

Paul Maley - BA Exec GM (Competitions)
Renee Narcis - Manager National Champs

They would be the two main decision makers you would imagine. Both based in Melbourne so that also has to work in Victoria's favour when it comes to venue selection

Confirmed from multiple sources both here on the east coast and through contacts in the west, that Warwick Senators (WA - Hosted U16s in 2017) will host 2020 & 2021 U16s.
