Assume because NBL1 is pretty silent at the moment, no real news coming out of clubs and Big V is in trial mode now with all clubs on the VJBL/ BIG V change of season.

NBL1 seems to be a slower burn

What have Westernport suddenly changed since the end of the season to leapfrog teams into SCM?

Do they have any significant signings?

No longer in Big V do you have to win the play offs or compete in the play offs to be promoted, just have some cash and write some big names on a piece of paper and away you go, who knows maybe even leap frog into NBL1, why not you don't have to be successful anymore to be promoted.

Be surprised if they changed their womens coach given the season they had huge improvement for the club there.

If a quality coach like Sunderland didn't want to reapply that’s saying something about the gig.

I dont think an imbecile could achieve what he did in one season he took over the most toxic uncompetitive team in the competition who had won a total of 5 games in 2 seasons...he had a clean out recruited and rebuilt the team missing out on finals by 1 game i rekon thats a fair effort myself

Molloy the only one retained coach from last year.

Teddy, the only coach re appointed from last season not only has a parent on the committee, but also a mother in law, but I am sure that did not influence the decision to re appoint. It clearly was a no brainer as the results ladder shows.
