USA v Canada

Really looking forward to this game tonight, will be sitting in the 3rd row at Qudos.

Obviously the US will be looking to bounce back with a win, and the Canadians have now had 4 or 5 matches together and look like a pretty competent team.

Should be a great match up and the last time for some years when we can see a bunch of NBA players running around in Sydney.

Not sure what sort of crowd is expected tonight but at least we know the viewing conditions will be optimal!

The US team will probably be pretty motivated to win impressively given the result against the Boomers. Would not be surprised if Canada keeps it close the entire game or pulls ahead slightly. They have some players that can probably have decent roles on NBA teams (although they would likely play off the bench). Pangos would easily start on quite a few NBA teams if he was a bit taller tbh. Aside from Birch, their centers are pretty average but not bad players. The Brissett kid has also been pretty good.

Few hot takes there anon...

Pangos being taller doesn't elevatate him the 4 levels needed to be an NBA starter.

I think USA blow them out tonight. Come to play and get up 23 points. Their defensive pressure and fast tempo will be too much for Canada's lack of depth.

Is this game televised on FTA? If not anyone know how to watch it other than going to the game?

What's the deal with these rims? They look so tight - no shooters rolls tonight.

Surprised at the good crowd number in Sydney for a neutral game 15,155.

Lopez has a reasonable cult following, largely due to being a generally likeable goofy dude.

Crowd showed him some love and when he played up to it, they fed off it and kept going. Cool he had some fun with it.
