Just read these 2 guys have resigned from the 36er's Board.
If this is true, does anyone have any facts as to their reasons?
Surely as both have excellent business credentials and a love of basketball they are the types we can ill afford to do without.

i think we all need to be careful on what is said. I'd hate to lose this site when B.A.S.A, takes a comment the wrong way and files that law suit they've been threatening.

53133 - I agree caution is required, but as I stated in my initial post, does anyone have any FACTS.
2 respected business people with existing senior positions and a genuine love of basketball suddenly both resign at the same time.
Is it :-
a) A coincidence its happend at the same time,
b) a time (business and family) issue
c) frustration at not being able to get changes through, as has been intimated on another post.
d)a deeper problem
e) none of the above
Someone must know something and if Peter or David are reading this, then any light they (or someone who knows the facts) can shed would be appreciated.

All I heard was that they resigned and left the board meeting concurrently. So, not a coincidence AFAIK.

I believe the 'resignations', or walk outs occured 2 weeks ago and was surprised that nothing was said for a week.
As for Macca's query, I think that c) and d) are closer to the mark.
Hopefully the whole story may emerge soon, but neither of these guys would be looking to stir the pot- they have too much dignity.

Well I think it is a shame for the 36ers to lose 2 great basketball & business people like Peter & David.
