Looking forward to the (men’s) Olympics

So, the WC squad is
Dellavedova
Mills
Bogut
Baynes
Ingles
Sobey
Goulding
Landale
Bolden
Cooks
Kay
Gliddon

To that we add those who missed out or couldn't make it
Motum
Adel
Creek
Simmons
Broekhof
Maker
Exum
McCarron

And there will others in contention by then, such as Cotton.

We should end up with one hell of a Boomers trial, and ultimately a squad to get excited by.

It would be so cool to see a Possibles vs Probables match as part of those trials - I’d pay to see that!!

If you added Green, Cotton, Froling and Blanchfield to the OP you have 24 players watching a game with two squads against each other would be good.

With the tickets thing, keep trying. There's different allotments and packages etc that expire meaning more tickets become available.

I managed to buy a ticket to the Bronze medal game in Rio on the morning of the game from the ticket booth. Sure it cost me everything in my bank account (almost literally) but that's what you expect.

Now obviously Tokyo will be different in that the local population have far more disposable income and inclination to going to big events for the sake of it, but I'm just saying its possible.

Are they more expensive than an NBA game

Not sure how much tickets are going for in Tokyo, but I think broadly, yes.

The tickets I had for men's bball in Rio ranged between $40 (a group stage game which I was able to get as a Brazilian resident) and $400 (bronze medal).

NBA games vary as well though. I remember in 2013 getting a lower bowl ticket in Philly for US$15. But yeah usually for something half decent you're looking at $60+

We need a couple more big men in there for the contenders, and need to drop a SF I reckon (probably Blanchfield.
