CLF Hoops Showcase - this Sunday! (Locked)
Hi Folks,
This Sunday we are holding the first ever CLF Hoops Showcase! This event is for the top 40 boys basketball players in SA to show their talent off to professional clubs and colleges both domestic and international. The 40 places have been selected, but we would like to invite coaches to come and watch the event too.
The event has attracted interest already from clubs and colleges all over the world to scout the players. We have commitments from clubs in the Australian NBL, German Bundersliga, Italian Serie A, Israeli Winner League, as well as, NCAA colleges from the 'Power 5' conferences to watch the event either in person or online.
The CLF Hoops Showcase is held at Prince Alfred College's "Red Centre"this Sunday (August 4th) from 9am - 7pm. The structure of the day is:
9am - 11am - Physical Testing and Shooting Tests
11:30am - 1:30pm - Team Practice covering Half Court Defence, Pick and Roll Defence, Transition Offence, Half Court Offence
2:30pm - 7pm - Tournament and All-Star Game.
If you would like to attend, registrations are essential (no walk ups on the day). The price is $20 and it allows you to come and go as you please throughout the day. We also have offered all District Clubs the option to bring a group of coaches to the event as part of a 'club rate'. So check in with your club if they have taken up this offer - otherwise, drop me a line to register individually.
