Casey will NOT be in NBL1 next year.
Found out this morning that they definitely will NOT be in NBL1 next year despite what they may be saying to recruit players.

NBL1 is reviewing all teams that entered this year, I reckon teams might even drop out. Ringwood is an interesting case, poor mens but finals bound womens team.
Casey was never going to be in NBL1 in 2020.....Ringwood will be fine.
Looks like they might even miss finals after being touted as one of the favourites,
What's happened?
sorry havent paid much attention, but any news on mt Gambier?
They ain't in this thread - try SA Premier League
760- what i meant was, a few weeks ago, news came out of mr gambier from a spokesperson stating that they "cant be playing in such an inferior league", true or not this suggests they are looking to return to a higher level of basketball. Its also well noted that they were rejected from the NBL1 league this year, and only given a 1 year lisence in the premier league, so I was just curious if its clear where mt Gambier is playing next year

They applied for NZNBL but LK got BA to veto the move so now they are stuck.
The fat controller flexing his muscles.
Mt Gambier with nowhere to go.
Australian basketball leadership at its worst.
