The Woodville District basketball Club is seeking applications for the role of Head Coach for our Premier League Women’s team. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic coach to join us at the new St Clair Stadium.
Woodville District Basketball Club is the elite basketball offering of the Westside Basketball Association. The club competes in South Australia’s Premier League, which is the highest level of competition in South Australia. The club is one of just 10 member clubs competing in Basketball SA’s junior and senior basketball competitions. We provide complete pathways from 6-year-olds through to seniors.
The successful applicant will work closely with the clubs Board and JDO to deliver a high level senior program. In addition to the role of Head Coach the successful applicant will oversee the Premier League Reserves team.
Essential requirements
• A high level of communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to develop players across various levels
• Experience coaching at an elite level
• Passion, Dedication and Excellent work ethic
Desirable requirements
• Level 2 Basketball Coaching accreditation
• Experience in scouting opposition teams
• Experience in player and coach recruitment
• Experience with HUDL software
The successful application must hold a current working with children clearance or have the ability to pass one immediately upon being offered the role.
