He's a solid player. Has his girlfriend signed for the meld boomers ?
How many more players do sem need now ?

Watching highlights, crazy how much he moves like Randle, although a much better/more consistent 3pt shot.

Good resume behind him. Clearly he can stroke the 3 ball!

So it appears SEM are now waiting on Creek to finalise their roster.
If Creek plays then they'll sign a budget 3rd import, and if he doesn't they'll sign an elite 3rd import and fill out the roster by elevating a DP or finding a budget Australian?
No LV if Creek doesn't sign they'll go all out on a marque Aussie like Mathiang
SEM have some very nice guards and their perimetre game is going to be strong. But who starts at the 5? Acouth? Wesley? They have a lot of 'forwards' but none that you really want playing 25 mins+ a game at the 4/5.
Lol, pineau, acouth and trist, maybe Wesley. That's pretty pathetic.

So which marquee Aussies would be realistic targets?
Humphries would be a good fit.

This is the squad:
They are in desperate need of a center.
*Roberson / Adnam
Madgen / Gibson / **Armstrong
Creek / Stephens
*Wesley / Trist
*Import / Pineau / Acuoth
Not the best roster even with Creek.
Stephens or Madgen would have to start at the 3.
Trist, Acouth and Pineau all look good.... on an NBL1 roster.
Roberson needs to be like Cotton or Ware.
Early on i thought the roster was shaping up to be really nice, looking a bit average now. In big trouble if creek doesn't stay. A gun bigman and creek and its a solid roster for a debut season.

Don't know what people are banging on about.
They have assembled a very roster, with an import spot still to fill, and they will be working on getting Wesley (and Moneke) naturalised.
Sure, we all know the issue with Creek. Wait and see I guess.
Maybe they will wait on his availability before finalising their last import???
As others have said, if Creek isn't coming they can chase another Aussie Marquee.
Bairstow is without a gig, and there are guys in Europe who could be lured home with the right Money. (Brandt has been rumoured to be in their sights since day one, so who knows.)

They said they will only be signing a third import to replace Creek if he stays in the NBA and Chima Moneke was released once they found out he wouldn't be able to become naturalised in time.
Moneke is now going to play for his home country I believe, he wasn't solving to many problems for SM anyway.
Rosters' Strength so far...
1. United
2. Kings
3. Hawks
4. Perth
5. Brisbane
6. 36ers
7. Phoenix
Cairns ???
Breakers ???
Perth fourth, who you kidding, equal first with Melbourne. NZ will be good let's wait till rosters are all complete.
they said "so far" and so far Perth has a massive hole where Brandt & Jervis used to be

"Rosters' Strength so far"
ROFL
MU have a great squad, but on balance, and depending on Prather's health, they are probably on par with last season and that wasn't near good enough. They have a gaping chasm at the 4 spot. Barlow couldn't last the season, he won't do any better, and they have lost Moller.
Waits and see how they complete their squad.
The Sydney Geriatrics will depend on who they sign as their imports. Not even in contention at the moment, but if they sign good 3 & 4 as their imports could easily take top billing.
Hawks have too many question marks to be rated at this stage.
Perth are hanging everything on their Import centre. Get the right guy and they will be unstoppable, but I'm not holding by breath. Chances are whomever they get will frustrate us all season long.

My understanding is that if Creek signs, they look for a budget import 5 (Egwu may fit the bill). If Creek doesn't, then their eggs into a stud import 5 and find a filler for the 3 (Madgen/Stephens/Armstrong could cover the 3).
The backup front court is quite weak - Armstrong's X-Factor is crucial.
