Golden State Future

A year ago the warriors put together the greatest team on paper ever, most thought it was just a formality them winning the title and being in the midst of a dynasty. Even with a regular season that was good it didn't really reflect having all those all stars and MVPs but going into the postseason it looked nearly certain they would win, getting to the finals fairly easily. While definitely not downgrading the Raptors, losing Durant was a huge hole, Thompson in last game and a recovering Cousins playing hurt again suddenly took away their invincibility. But the blow up between Draymond and KD during regular season was a major sign Durant was leaving, suddenly there's talk they may only limp into playoffs this coming season.
No Durant and for most of season Klay, can the once mighty warriors return, can Steph carry them. Pulled a major coup in getting Russell but had the give up Iggy. Does Russell suit their style, apparently with Cauley-stein coming in they may run more pick and roll. Then there's rumour they may flip Russell very soon, Wiggins apparently. Really just another Barnes player before they got KD. So do they go back to pre Durant which was pretty successful. Cousins is a man No one wants. Going from maybe best centre in league to struggling to find a team. Apparently he's hoping Leonard doesn't go to Lakers so he can sign there with money they'll have left over, but with Cauley-stein providing a young athletic defensive big does GSW even want him. Even talk he wanted to go back to Sacramento.
So to cut a long story short, did karma play a part in Warriors falling back to earth? And Boogie too? Lots of questions out there, will have to see how it plays out but will they be happy campers and be pre Durant team when Klay comes back and if Russell stays will he fit in? Loved watching them when it all started.

Magic Johnson, Byron Scott, James Worthy, AC Green, Kareem would eat that "greatest team on paper ever"
