Young Aussie big in Europe on Sixers radar?

"We're bringing in a young Aussie from Europe who has the same size and athleticism of Majok (Deng) and is a real rim protector," Wright said.

Who says 2019-20 is going to be nightmarish for the 36ers?

http://www.botinagy.com/blog/sixers-made-of-the-wright-stuff-now/

Who might this be?

Joey on the new signings so far:

Gone from last season are replacement import Demitrius Conger, guard Nathan Sobey (Brisbane Bullets), Majok Deng (Cairns Taipans), Shaun Bruce (Sydney Kings) and Adam Doyle.

"I think we'll be better than last year," Wright said.

"We get better as a team, we don't lose our athleticism and our IQ goes up three players."

Could just be Venky Jois? And when I say just I just mean he's a familiar free agent.

Please take Jois. Another underwhelming season ahead with (or without) him.
I have been watching NBL basketball for a very long time and seeing his foul shooting efforts, he is without doubt the worst foul shooter I have ever seen.
He is a one dimensional player and make no mistake he tries hard, but isn't a team player what so ever.

Well that is potentially good news, if the player is ready to contribute solid NBL minutes! I like the toughness and experience Joey has added to our bench, my concern has been with the lack of big man depth. If this guy solves that problem then the team is starting to look better balanced.

Surely if they are coming back from Europe, they won't just be a development player either right? So that could push Teys to 11th man?

Beantown, we've still got one spot left on the roster.

Wiley*, Moore*, Taylor*, Johnson, Froling, Drmic, McVeigh, Teys, Dillon, White.

However I suspect this guy will be in part cover for Froling, Boti said on a podcast a couple of weeks ago he's unlikely to be back next season.

Guys who it could be...

Duop Reath | FMP (Serbia)
Mangok Mathiang | Vanoli Cremona (Italy)
Matur Maker | Zlaterog (Slovenia)

Reath sounds like the most likely.

LC......I'm telling you right now, it’s Obi Keyi. He’s the only one available at an affordable price. He’s a big and he’s been playing in europe. Do your research

I know who he is...but he is not of the same quality as the others I listed.

Kyei is a borderline NBL talent at this point.

Lual-Acuil Jr is another as someone else pointed out. Would be handy pick up.

It's mentioned similar size to Deng and a rim protector. Not sure Keyi is that.
Maybe they have him as a development player??

Lual-Acil.
