If that's the case and one surely how it isn't. Says plenty about Norwood attitude towards its clientele base. Poor kids suffer because of admin bee in bonnet.

What on earth would make you think Norwood hasn't nominated?

Team list from BSA has not listed Norwood as nominating. If it were any other club I would assume a BSA error in their communication but given it is Norwood it wouldn't surprise me

Is it even legal to not nominate? Is it not compulsory?

State Champs begin on the 16th of May so we can assume that the draw will be published that mourning.

Norwood couldn't afford internet to nominate as they needed to budget for more towels for Jordy wilson to wave

If so, good work by Norwood.

I've never understood the sheeplike mentality in basketball in Australia.

Limited choice for athletes and coaches.

Those with fulltime jobs in "the pathway" create this myth of "pathways" to self serve. Often at state level there is substandard, self-serving coaches and high performance managers. They jump on the next big thing and jump off quicker than you can sneeze. They don't do actual talent ID, they do it after the fact. And 9/10 they don't really have the capabilities to do it anyway.

End of the day none of that matters to the athlete if you are good enough to get to college and/or pro ranks. Plenty of athletes out of Australia not on "the pathway" and/or not one of the chosen ones get to where they need without the money making, scheming, self serving "pathway" designed to suck money, energy and expertise from athletes for no actual benefit to them.

Ummm not as stupid as you think. I believe they are an advocate for no state champs.

What a ridiculous thing to say, they may have an opinion but why would they exclude their teams from this opportunity especially with success in the past. SIze of Club has nothing to do with admin and you don't know the background information so find something better to do on a Monday night.

Checking out how the teams are for state champs with talk about Norwood but what is happening at Tigers with 18s? Only 6 girls and 2nd boys team forfeit.

Forestville have girls title in the bag - will be daylight between them and runners up. Would need huge upsets in a couple of grades for them to lose it.

Boys will be very close between North, Centrals, Sturt and Norwood.

they used to put out a timeline i.e. pools / seedings date then a draw date. I would imagine the draw would be on line by next Friday 10th COB for the next week. Best thing to keep in mind is you may have a thursday night game.

your schedule is now avail.

My predictions -

12 G state Norwood, Fville

14 G state Fville, North, West

16 G state Fville, Mavs, Sturt

18 G state Fville

12 G reserve Fville, Tigers

14 G reserve Fville, West

16 G reserve Sturt, Southern

18 G reserve Sturt, Fville

State and Reserve Gs - Fville - maybe Fville's results in girls may earn the overall.

Boys between North, Centrals, Sturt and norwood.
