Summer/Winter seasons

I have heard that clubs are trying to have summer and winter seasons run totally within the calendar year what do players/coaches think?

ITs more that players im worried about. As a player you only get one shot at juniors - IE U18s. Lets hope that during the "transition" period they dont destroy the kids going through now!
