Did anyone else notice that it mentioned in The Advertiser today that one of the participants in the SLOWDOWN, Erin Philips, just happenes to play for, and I quote, "the Adelaide Lightning!"
And this was in the sport section! Obviously the WNBL team being sponsored by Fellas is making big waves around other circles! (Sarcasm level: 9.7 - just had to chuck in 0.7)

It was a bit wierd to hear "adelaide fellas" mentioned on the radio today. At least it was closely followed by womens basketball.

Sacramento, Seattle, L.A. and Detroit are each capable of making adjustments that could lead them to the title. If Erin Phillips arrives from Australia and if Taj McWilliams-Franklin doesn't retire, the Sun should have an upgrade at backup point guard and the tools to return to the finals. But really, where's the guarantee? They'd still have to lose two more times in the championship to become the Buffalo Bills of the WNBA.
The actual topic of this thread changed with almost every post. Started off with the slowdown and now it is discussing the chances of the Sun in the WNBA. Unbelievable. I'm bored.
