Damian Martin's Crazy Night

-Hits a 3 to send the game to OT and help Wildcats regain top spot on the ladder.

-Recieves death threats from a punter who had $20k on Syndey.

-Driving home from picking up his dinner sees a house on fire. Enters and saves an old man and his dog who were upstairs, climbs on the roof and attempts to put out the fire with a hose, goes back in to retrieve some valuables for the owner. House was completely destroyed in the fire.

Was going to start my own thread, but this tops anything I was going to say.

After Damo's performance, I was pondering the question:

Who is your favourite player for LIFTING (and lifting his team) in CRUNCH time? When an important game is on the line?

From last night's game, have to give major props to Randle. He was stuffed, he was on one leg, and he was still trying to carry his team home.

And obviously Cotton went off in the last quarter and OT, but for mine its still Damo.

The sooner the NBL distances itself from sports betting organisations the better.
