Nathan Sobey’s tricep tattoos

Are there any art or history majors that are able to shed any light on the meaning of Sobey's tricep artwork? Is there symbolism and imagery at play here, designed to give us some greater insight into the human condition?

My best educated guess arrives at the two most likely scenarios:

"NS" = North-South, Sobey’s favourite two compass directions and a representation of his preferred method of attacking the basket; in current parlance 'north-south’ refers to attack the basket from the top (as compared to east-west, dribbling or passing across the perimeter)

“NS” = Nuestra stadia, a Spanish/Latin influenced phrase that literally translates to “Our stadium”, or perhaps colloquial “Our house”. That is to say, wherever and for whomever Nathan is playing, it is that team’s house, usually the Brett Maher Court at Titanium Security Arena, but also a cheeky nod to claiming opponent’s facilities during away fixtures.

"North South" is what he calls flopping and the tattoo shows his dedication to being up, then immediately going down.

I think it's the initials of his favourite NBL player.

I would think the N stands for - Not going to actually be the man when it counts as I often have massive first halves and seem to fade away when my team needs me most. Not sure how to close out a game with good decision making either.
I believe the S stands for - Shouldn't count on me as your teams marquee, go to guy, even though I have a very exciting game and can compliment other weapons really well, if you are counting on me then you shouldn't......

or something like that.

"Surely just 'Nathan Sobey'- NS!"

Wrong, it stands for "Not Sobey" to fool opposition scouts who had scouted Nathan Sobey's game, but are thwarted on the day when they realise that he is "Not Sobey".

Yes. Since the revival I've felt the club has been a placeholder team merely going through the motions and rehashing mediocre personnel from here and there including the now departed CEO. Hope to see something different next season with the new owner.
