Sturt Basketball Club- new facility?

Can anyone shed some light on this? Sturt Basketball Club states the securing of a new facility in their strategic plan reviewed in January this year: https://cdn-asset-mel-1.airsquare.com/sturtsabres/library/strategic-plan-2018-2022-current-version-public-20180306.pdf?201811190436

Here we go, other clubs are getting new stadiums so of course Sturt have to jump up and down so they can get one. North, Woodville and Eastern been playing out of dumps for decades, suddenly Pasadena isn't good enough for the blue bloods!

Send all the money to vic, nsw or qld. The only states that are producing talent these days. :)

I dont beleive that it is due to the state of Passadena but rather just the lack of capacity

The issue is the lack of security and access to Pasadena.

There has continuously been an issue with the continuation of the school and therefore the long term stability of Pasadena. If the school were to cease to exist, there is every possibility that the stadium would change hands and Sturt and BSA would lose access.

Every club should be looking to increase the number of courts their main facility has access too.

PS That's a pretty weak strategic plan.

How about they get air conditioning so the farce from Friday night isn't repeated.

Because BSA have refused to do it. Sturt have no ownership of the stadium nor the lease. That's DECS and BSA.

No games at air conditioned stadiums as bsa in their wisdom didn't want them because it stuffs up the ladder because of the other shit stadiums. Hence the farce, don't penalise the courts that have them because of courts that don't. Now there's an uneven draw, what if your team is playing bottom team and you need win to make final. Bsa can't even organise catch up games.

"what if your team is playing bottom team and you need win to make final"

Then you probably weren't going to go far anyway

^ well no, they only put team 1 and 2 on ladder in finals so yeah it matters actually.

Oh, THE final. Assumed he meant finals. Due to all the other butchering of the English language he managed.

several grades have 9 teams so there is an odd amount of games anyway - table positions are calculated by W/L %. Correct re the issue of missing the summer final if a team misses the chance to get to play - benefits any team that had to play a stronger team - having the round dropped.
