Illawarra v Adelaide
Illawarra couldn't quite knock over the Cadee show earlier in the round but have the opportunity for redemption against Adelaide today. Adelaide with a somewhat easy win over the hapless Cairns even gave Bijan Johnson his first NBL points in the game.
For those who think this will be a cake walk for Adelaide, think again. Illawarra are very competitive at home and while some of their players have seen better days, they seem to lift when they have a good night's sleep in their own bed. Illawarra has a big scalp this season in Melbourne, a win over Brisbane and Cairns as well as that 4 x OT game.
Other results have been competitive, but Adelaide did roll them a couple of games ago.
There's not much to do in Wollongong except surf, play basketball, and spill beer. Wollongong with a few older craftier players will want a slow, man on man game. Adelaide with a little younger faster legs will go for broke with a fast paced run and gun.
Illawarra has only lifted their bat for the century once this season against Cairns, otherwise their score is mid 80's, low 90's.
Should be a tight game, but hey, do I ever tip against the Sixers?
