New Zealand v Perth Nov 23

Looks like a great game, a will be a great game, especially if Perth loses.

This has to be the long road trip/return trip series. A game tonight and then both teams jump on a plane to head to Perf for the return matchup.

All eyes will be on Cotton and whether in the last minute of the game he can ice the Breakers, or the Breakers can ice Cotton.

I'm leaning towards the Breakers picking Cotton.

Going to be a tough one, that's for sure. Especially without Martin and Brandt. Really annoyed we haven't done more to plug the gap.

I think most Wildcats fans would be happy with a split,

Yep, lets ignore the numerous fouls committed to stop the clock. Lets also ignore the brainless turnovers in the overtime period from NZ.

It's like one of those Bigfooty match threads where all people concentrate on is the officials.

If you blame the officials for a loss, whether it be basketball, football or effing table tennis, you are moron. It's that simple.

Players make a sh*tload more errors than a ref in a game, yet they get a pass.

For the most part that was a great tussle. So much energy when these two teams play.

Simple fact is that with starters out, Perth are playing smarter D, and its working for them.
Yes, there were a few unlucky calls against NZ. Long unlucky to foul out on that one.
But there were also LOTS of stupid bonehead fouls by NZ. Webster, already on 4 fouls, wraps both arms around his opponent. Yeah it was soft, but it was also stupid. Abercrombe same deal, and then tops it off with a tech.

This game just pretty much proves the point.
Obviously its NOT home cooking
Obviously the NBL doesn't want the Cats to roll NZ at home, if anything they would want to keep the rivalry strong.

If you want to blame someone or something, blame the Cats for buying the best team, and blame the system that allowed it to happen.

Kay is hands down the best PF in the comp right now.
No team should have a PG as good as Norton coming off the bench,
Cotton should not even be in this league.

Return game will be interesting, as Trev rode his stars pretty hard.
