Paige Williams must go!

The blonde female pre-game presenter the NBL has employed this season is horrible!

What is she? A mature age uni student graduate?

She stumbles on her words, has no idea of basketball lingo and isn't that great looking either (not that should matter, but at least it would help distract from the sub-par performances).

What does she offer? Can we get a new presenter please? One that is competent and has had a live TV gig before?

Abby wasn't great, but you could see she was trying and improving.

Paige Williams is a bargain basement presenter. Surely they can find an intern that can do a better job?!

She should be watching Doris Burke videos perfecting her craft she doesnt have a clue what shes speaking about its super awkward with the other commentators because you can tell in their heads they are thinking what the f is she talking about. If we want to be known and respected as a professional league we must hire professionals....

Unless you're an imbecile and are incapable of learning, it would take one week to turn it around imo.

Paige, if you're reading, please practise in the mirror, keep practising, practise more, visualise, think of full sentences to string together and have them at the ready, have palm cards with questions and read those palm cards while there is overlay footage playing. If you struggle to find words, put test yourself with those 'no filter' tests where you say whatever comes to mind, so long as you don't stop. May help come game day.

Hope she isn't scared. No excuse if she's scared because she is apparently a professional.

I wish her the best, because I can feel her enthusiasm and we want that. She's likeable if you look through the fails.

She's not the best but there's enough to work with there to suggest she might improve.

Is there really a need for a separate host though? Would've thought guys like John Casey and Dwayne Russell would be quite comfortable being the pre game and post game host as well as play by play

Sorry but she should have started at WNBL level and worked her way onto NBL screens.

Let's be honest, if that was Rachel Sporn for example asking those questions then they'd seem far more fluid because she knows basketball, has had a microphone in her hands for years and is an absolute legend.

Could do worse than Rachel but maybe she doesn't get the gig because of her age?

Who knows but Rachel is way better than Paige but I haven't given up on Paige and she will only improve with more opportunity
