Aussie team in FIBA 3X3 Penang Masters

Australia's best performed team across the past 18 months will make a second appearance on the FIBA 3×3 World Tour, with Melbourne iAthletic set to take flight at the Penang Masters in Malaysia this weekend.

Featuring two members of the gold medal winning 2018 FIBA 3×3 Asia Cup team, Melbourne will be looking to cause a major upset by winning Australia’s first ever World Tour title.

Bundled out 0-2.

Need some bigger, more athletic bodies. Carter and Wright were good, but against bigger bodies found it tough. Greer looked cooked against the competition - fitness or athleticism not up to this level.

The size of the Zemun team dwarfed the Aussie boys.

I'd like to see a team with guys who have played Elite 3X3 join forces: something like Steel, Tom Garlepp, Eric McAlister (USC Rip3x3) and Corey Standerfer (Melbourne).

Carter doesn`t seem a great choice for 3x3. if you are a guard in that game you must be reliable with hitting the open j.

Poor player selection. We should be performing much better in 3x3.

I find it interesting that Greer (previously employed by the NBL and now GM of the un-named Melb franchise) plays 3x3 in the CLB.....considering the NBL own and operate the 3X3 Hustle. Conflict ?
