Wildcats search for Brandt replacement

The Perth Wildcats are believed to be looking for an American to replace Angus Brandt for NBA tour.

With Brandt possibly out for start of NBL season I wonder if they will bring an American to fill in as injury replacement.

Their streak of all games at Perth Arena being in five figures will end.

Is this the first Dunigan mention in a Perth thread this offseason? If so, must be a new record.

^no, I have seen a Dunigan mention in another thread this off-season. That 4-game stint really resonated with the perf fans

Dunigan has always been a meme. I'm amazed so many people don't see that!

Be great to see the arrogant salary cap breachers come down to earth. They've been doing it for years and with their crappy draw THAT THEY WOULD HAVE AGREED TO, assist in that demise. Just like barracking for every team that plays Collingwood.

The fact that half the games in question have had their tipoff times removed would indicate otherwise.

multiple times have changed http://www.wildcats.com.au/schedule

Oct 14 was 2pm, now 2:20pm - it appears all 2pm slots are now 2:20 slots (??)
Oct 20, Oct 27 and Nov 3 all 12pm now instead of 11:30...
6:50pm for Friday Nov 9 game...
TBC for the 11:30am Sunday games later in the year

very bizarre changes lol hopefully more (better) changes to come

More references to Australia's time zone systems.

Perhaps Perth could play in Eucla on ACWST.

Love it.

All previous times were TV start times, and there's a 20-minute pre-game this year.

Dope is correct for the state, but Eucla isn't on the west coast where the Dutch landed.
That was around early 17th Century.

Etymology of "Dope"

From Dutch “doop” or “doopen”, to do with sauce or dipping. Mid 19th Century. I think English equivalent of Dutch “doopen” would be “to dip”.

Time zones and Geography combined. Hoops keeps on givin’.

I thought dope was to do with dopamine and how it can get you making silly decisions when you release it.

Stuteville had no impact in just 6 minutes on court but then most of Perth had no impact either.
Would expect a better showing against Denver.
