As outlined in a previous topic, I wonder why Al Green was in Port Augusta with Alex and other north Adelaide coaches? Pure coincidence??? Check out North's facebook page and see the chummy photos. Looks like the cat is out of bag. Still think Hawkes is coaching there next season?

That's Al. You have to remember Al and Alex have a good connection and Alex was hurt Al was booted from Woodville. Wouldn't surprise me if Alex is advocating for him.
Alex also chose to go to north and Hawkes when he returned to SA two years ago, not to South with Al.
The plot thickens.......
And Sobey does individuals with North juniors. I guess he will be playing 6 games and 18 seconds with North to play finals

This is hilarious. That clinic was run by North because one of their Star 16s 1s kids is a local. Al Green is close with some of these kids and parents because they work hard up to 5 days a week, sometimes with the likes of Al. It was to give country kids the opportunity to get exposure to Al and maybe register for Tri Star camp in January.
The SA basketball community is small. They are mates.
My kid works out with people from other clubs, because they want to get better it doesn't mean much else.

Maybe he’ll coach there, maybe he won’t.. there is a spot up for grabs but I’d hardly say it’s a done deal just because there was a clinic run together

A bit harsh on Hawkes, he has coached those summer reserve teams since he started in 2014. Maybe get your facts straight.
