NBL releases schedule for Blitz in Bendigo and Ballarat
The biggest names in Australian basketball will be on display in Bendigo and Ballarat for next month's NBL Blitz.
The National Basketball League has partnered with the Victorian Government to bring its popular pre-season event to regional Victoria.
Bendigo Stadium will host four games of the NBL Blitz on September 20 with eight games at Ballarat Minerdome from September 22-23 with both cities to also host a range of community activities featuring NBL stars.
The announcement was made as Melbourne United prepared to take on the Sydney Kings in tonight’s pre-season game in front of a big crowd at Bendigo Stadium
In addition to 12 games across three days there will be a range of community activities at both venues including NBL clinics, game-day activations featuring 3x 3, wheelchair and Indigenous basketball and free entry to the day session games on Day 1 in Bendigo.Full schedule
