NBL player long term endorsements

I rarely watch horrible free to air but I did today and saw a new ad for Kingsize Menswear with Andrew Vlahov in it. He has been in dozens of ads for them for around 20 to 25 years now here on local Perth TV. It's good to see.

So it got me thinking - are there any other long term associations with ex NBL players and the endorsing of a business?

Pretty sure Vlahov owns/part owns Kingsize Menswear, it's not just an endorsement

Thanks for the input. It actually came across my mind when starting the topic that he is part owner, which make the ads make sense.

Still the question remains - are there any other ex-players featured in endorsements in other markets?

Vlahov's ads air in Melbourne from time to time but up here (live in Brisbane now) its all former Broncos while in Melbourne its all former AFL players. They cost just as much as former NBL players do but are much more widely known.

Funnily enough there are more stores in Queensland than anywhere else (5 QLD, 4 WA, 1 VIC).

The Vlahov ad is in Sydney but no mention of his name or basketball. Not sure if that's the same everywhere.

Former NBL import Al Harrington constantly endorses the decriminalisation of marijuana and Andrew Gaze still endorses AFL right?

Amazing thing about Ads in Perth is that Fat Cat is still in them.

Didn't WA get the memo?
