George Best, now that dude was a fish, if it was liquid it could be drunk... what's he had 2 liver transplants.

What's funnier is he's now a youth coach at Portsmouth F.C. Great role model for the young'uns.

They can't beat David Boon's record unless they travel on a flight from London to Sydney and finish off 53 cans!

And in my opinion, he got robbed of Australian Of The Year when he did that!

Boonies record speaks for its self, 53 cans (old school 410ml cans)

but if you ever get to speak with dougie walters he claim he hold the record with 62 stubbies and after a few drinks i believed him

ironic that boonie is now the face of drink driving campaign in tassie and is on the board of the alcohol abuse program

:D

Turn it up,

To use a basketball analogy, if the Boomers beat the Dream Team for a gold medal at a Olympic Games or World Championship they would be reacting exactly the same as the English Cricket side is.

About time that Aussie side got knocked of their pedestal and brought back to reality

England 2 Aussies 1

There is a plaque on the wall of the front bar of the Cricketers Arms in South melbourne that reads:

"Val Perovic drank 52 cans of beer in 2 1/2 hours, witnessed by the publican, 10 Carlton footballers and a very nervous dog"

if Val Perovic had've flown to England, the record would be up around 500 cans!
