Jawai cant play long minutes and is injury prone. At Cairns I could see him starting with Jawai delivering power minutes off the bench.

He looked old at the Comm Games, so I presume the Breakers start Lowe.

Pledger would be good in Cairns or maybe a back-up in Perth if Jervis doesn't go back.

Pledger is currently signed for 18/19.

They may want to downsize to run and gun with Weeks & Ili.

Looks like new ownership aren't being as loyal to local players as in the past. Which is good since it seemed many got way too comfortable over there.

I thought Pledger's value would have improved.

He has developed a very reliable mid-range, I'd still take Pledger ahead of Loe right now.

He's always had a decent jumper but he's slowed with age & injuries.
I'd like to see him stay another season but NZ may decide to play an import and let Loe back him up.

Loe has Pledger covered already.
Pledger starting and averaging 15 mins a game is a joke(they are bench mins).

Perth fans respect Pledger more than most because Brandt is powerless against him. I don't know why NZ can't use him more effectively against smaller centres.

Pledger is such a smart centre, he does so much off the ball that just goes unnoticed.

Surely would be in demand ....I'd have him at Perth in a heartbeat.

Breakers are mad to get rid of him. They should have played him more

NBL has become more mobile so Pledge is not used as much these days.
He is a liability in defensive pick and roll, because Breakers as team did not try to consistently defend it.
Who or what type of player would you replace him with?
Loe is foul prone. Pledge was more than adequate off the bench.
He is more than useful, affordable local talent so can Breakers let him go?
Quality Import big are few and far between and too expensive for our league.
Great bench pick up for any team, I think.

Handy player for some teams bench.
Illawarra, Melbourne or even Perth.

Still has a lot to offer! Got screwed by the needless addistion of Rakeem Christmas, Henare never seemed to be able to use him properly! Will be a solid pick up where ever he ends up

So Braswell is clearly trying to play an uptempo system with mobile bigs (of which Pledger isn't mobile). And we lost Rob Loe (which befudds me but anyway). And Majok Majok is playing with Braswell's NZ-NBL team for the season...

Is Braswell trying to get Majok Majok with Tai Wesley to the Breakers next season?

Well mobile doesn't spring to mind about Majok.
Let's hope Hawks get him or Pledger as they need help.

I'd definitely have him in Perth in a heartbeat...

Absolutely undervalued and I'm so glad he seems to have gotten past his turf toe injury.

At worst he's a big fella that can deliver 5 solid fouls a game at best he can be a headache for all opposition in their scouting.

Thank you NZ for getting rid of the players that I enjoy watching, surely he isn't lost to the league as he is a proven winner with decent enough upside
