Illawarra & Cairns Likely Line Ups

So given that Cairns & Illawarra simply can't compete for dollars with the 'big 6' cities, what do we think their line ups are going to look like & will at least one of them STILL surpass expectations & make the finals?

Sorry, I can't seem to log in from my phone... It's Air Delay.

Aussie talent wise, I see Cairns with-
Jawai
Loughton
Kuany
Majok
Then I don't know from there... Maybe Bragg? Who else?

Hawkies-
AJ
White
Coenraad
Then ? ? ?

Maybe Ellis & Martin as I can't see anyone else queuing up to grab them & they'll do their job.

Cooks if we're lucky.

So maybe the guys that get politely pushed out of Perth & Brissy find a home with Cairns & Illawarra?

Emmett Naar for norton
Xavier cooks
Chima Moneke
Jack mc veigh

this guys could be starts or bench players for hawks and cairns but in the other teams they would be DP players

Cheers - Kendle, Naar, Muo, Cooks, McVeigh... Feeling more hope now for the underdogs : )

Coenraad won't leave the Illawarra. Too much investment in Rebound Nutrition & focus on his post bball career. He's a smart dude.

Is Conger a chance of coming back or will another team double his salary and take him?

Cairns I'm guessing will most likely look like this

PG - Import/Hueir
SG - Bruce/Import
SF - Import/Tevin Jackson/Kuanny
PF - Loughton/Young
C - Jawai/Majok

Are there any other legit NBL level Combo Guards or SG locals playing overseas, or even in state leagues, that would be worth taking a look at?

Not sure concerned about Cairns or ILL re: getting a competitive team together.

Every year this happens and yet every year the league is still competitive. The year that TVL put together a cheap makeshift team they still won a few games.

That's the point MACDUB, they'll play hard and be competitive, coaches may do a great job, even a coach of the year job, but just like Dennis and those Crocs they'll be fighting it out for the Wooden Spoon.

The league really needs to do as they said and have the equalization tax.
